SYMPTOMS

When you add borders and shading to a large table in a Microsoft Works 2000 word processor document, you may experience the following symptoms:
  • The borders and shading may take from one to five minutes to be properly displayed on the screen, and during that time your computer may appear to stop responding (hang).
  • Text you type over a border or shaded area may be displayed very slowly.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Works 2000.
