Works Suite 2000: Mail-merge Documents Wizard Does Not Function (239974)

When you use Microsoft Works Suite 2000 Task Launcher to perform a mail
merge, Microsoft Word 2000 may start, but the Mail-merge documents wizard
may not function.
In addition, the Mail Merge submenu may not be present on the Word
2000 Tools menu.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs if the following conditions are true:
- You installed Works Suite 2000 on a Microsoft Windows 2000-based
computer.
- You log on to the computer as a different user.
RESOLUTION
To prevent this issue from occurring, each user that logs on to the
computer must install the Works 2000 Word Add-in.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Works Suite 2000.
