If you print an envelope to a printer that is configured to use portrait
orientation, and then print the envelope to a printer that is configured
to use landscape orientation, the address on the envelope continues to be
printed in portrait orientation.
NOTE: If you reverse this process (the first printer is configured
to use landscape orientation, and the second printer is configured to use
landscape orientation), the address is printed in the correct orientation
on the envelope.
RESOLUTION
To work around this issue:
- On the File menu, click Print.
- In the Name box, click the printer that you want
to use, and then click Properties.
- On the appropriate tab of the printer properties dialog box,
click Landscape under Orientation.
- Click OK, and then click OK again.
- Print the envelope.
