To install the Word for Macintosh Special Edition for iMac and iBook, locate the Microsoft Office 98 folder on the CD-ROM and drag this folder onto your hard disk icon. When the files have finished copying to your hard disk, open the Microsoft Office 98 folder on the hard disk and double-click the Microsoft Word icon.
The First Run Installer then starts and installs the necessary components to run Word 98. Next the Word 98 application starts. Your installation is complete at that point.
