NBA/NFL 2000: Can Only Play Game in Software Mode (239872)

SYMPTOMS

When you play Microsoft NBA Inside Drive 2000 or Microsoft NFL Fever 2000, you may experience the following symptoms:

You are only able to play the game in software mode.
The video adapter installed in your computer may not appear in the list of available video drivers in the Display options window.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if at least two of the following conditions are true:

A Creative Labs Graphics Blaster Exxtreme video adapter is installed in your computer.
A video adapter based on the Riva TNT2 chipset is installed in your computer.
The video driver installed on your computer is outdated.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, download and install the latest video driver for your video adapter from the appropriate Web site:
