XL97: Data Labels Misplaced with Bar Charts (239830)

SYMPTOMS

When you create a Bar chart with data labels, the labels and values should appear inside the chart (to the right of the vertical axis). However, in print preview only one label or value is displayed correctly; the others are displayed outside the chart (to the left of the vertical axis).

CAUSE

This problem may occur when you create a chart with a zero or a very small value.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
