Users running NetMeeting 2.x (or clients written to the same specifications) cannot control programs shared by computers running NetMeeting 3.x or later. A shared program is visible, but NetMeeting 2.x users cannot take control of the program.
MORE INFORMATION
In NetMeeting 3.x, program sharing is changed to support scrolling windows and remote desktop sharing. These changes prevent earlier clients from controlling programs shared by NetMeeting 3.x clients. NetMeeting 2.x, Sun Forum 3.0, and SGIMeeting 1.1 are known to exhibit this limitation.
