Works: Text Disappears When You Format It with the Outline Effect (239406)

When you use the Outline effect to format text in the Microsoft Works Word Processor, the text may disappear.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if you use the Emboss or Engrave effect before you use the Outline effect.
When you click to select the Emboss or Engrave check box, the text color changes to white. When you then click the Outline check box, the text color stays white and the text seems to disappear.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
- Click to select the area where the text should be displayed.
- On the Format menu, click Font.
- In the Color box, click Automatic, and then click OK.
