Works 2000: Table Appears to Flash Each Time You Press a Key (239381)

When you type into a table in a word processor document in Microsoft Works 2000, the table may appear to flash each time you press a key.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if the following conditions are true:
- The table contains two or more columns.
- You format the table with a thick outline border in the following manner:
- On the Format menu, click Borders and Shading.
- Under Use the buttons below to apply a single border style to the paragraph, click the Outline button.
- Under Line Style, click the thickest line style, and then click OK.
- You insert a row into the table, and then type within that row in the following manner:
- On the Table menu, click Insert Row, and then click Before Current Row.
- Type anywhere in the inserted row.
RESOLUTION
To prevent this issue from occurring, disable the Autosize Cell Height option before you insert a row into the table. To do this:
- On the Table menu, click Cell Height and Width.
- Click to clear the Autosize Cell Height check box.
- Click OK.
