Works 2000: Application Error Printing to a Removed Network Printer (239336)

When you are printing to a network printer, the following error message may appear:
Application error.
The memory could not be written.
When you click OK, the following error message may appear
Application error.
The memory could not be read.
and the application may stop responding.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if a printer has been removed from the server, but not from the client (the user's computer).
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, delete the non-existent network printer from your computer. To delete a printer from your computer, follow these steps:
- Click Start on the Windows taskbar.
- Point to Settings, and then click Printers.
- Right-click the printer you want to delete.
- Click Delete.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Works 2000.
