Works: The Euro Currency Symbol Is Not Printed on Some Printers (239240)

When you print a document that contains the Euro currency symbol (), the
Euro currency symbol may be printed as a dot, or does not print.
CAUSE
This issue may occur if one of the following conditions is true:
- The printer uses built-in fonts that do not support the Euro
currency symbol.
- The printer uses a font substitution table, and the font that is
substituted does not support the Euro currency symbol.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, use either of the following methods.
Obtain and Install an Updated Printer Driver
Contact your hardware manufacturer to inquire about how to obtain and install the latest version of the printer driver for your printer.

Configure your printer to use only TrueType fonts. For more information about how to do this, consult your printer manufacturer or the documentation provided with your printer.
