VIZACT: Custom Cell Height Does Not Appear in Timed Table (239019)

The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Vizact 2000

This article was previously published under Q239019

SYMPTOMS

After you specify a custom cell height for a cell in a table, and then you time the table, when you view the page in Vizact, the cell appears at the original height instead of at the height that you specified.

When you view the page in the browser, the table is displayed as expected.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.

MORE INFORMATION

Vizact may not display a table properly with custom heights that have been timed. However, the table is displayed properly in the browser.

If you must see the correct height for the cells in Vizact, use the following method to work around the behavior:
  1. In the table, click to highlight two cells in a row.
  2. Right-click the cells, and then click Cell Properties.
  3. On the Cell tab, apply the height that you want to specify for the cell.NOTE: The Timing tab is not available (is dimmed) if you only select a single cell. For additional information about applying timing to a single cell, click the article number below to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

239468 VIZACT: Cannot Add Timing to Cell Properties

  4. Click the Timing tab.
  5. Change the Start Property at Time to correspond with the timing of the entire table. For example, if the table starts at 2 seconds, type 2s as the start time for the cell.
  6. Click OK and play the page in Vizact.
