SYMPTOMS

A computer running Windows NT may receive the following error message on a blue screen in Win32k.sys:
STOP: 0x0000001e (0xc0000005, 0xa00b7ca8, 0x00000000, 0x0073c294)
NOTE: The first parameter is always the same. The second parameter may vary slightly, but always falls within Win32k.sys. The last two parameters may vary, depending on your system configuration.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because of a synchronization problem in Windows NT.

RESOLUTION

Windows NT Server or Workstation 4.0
