SUMMARY

If you use Publisher's Wizard features, you can create business cards, and print them on Avery's Business Card labels (SKU# 3612). This package includes 80 cards. The layout per page contains 8 business cards.

To print Avery Business Cards, follow these steps:

NOTE: To have the choice to print multiple cards per sheet of paper, you must start from the Publications by Wizard.
  1. Start Microsoft Publisher.
  2. In the Microsoft Publisher Catalog, click Publications by Wizard.
  3. Click Business Cards.
  4. You will see Plain Paper and Special Paper, click Plain Paper.
  5. Click Business Cards.
  6. Click Start Wizard. The Wizard with prompt you with questions about:

    1. Design layouts..
    2. Color Scheme..
    3. Orientation, landscape or portrait
    4. If you want a Logo..
    5. How many per page do you want.
    6. Personal contact information
    NOTE: All this information can be changed later.

  7. After you have answered all the questions, click Finish.
  8. After you finalize your changes, you are ready to print. On the File menu, click Print.
  9. Click Page Options.
  10. Select Print multiple copies per sheet, and click Custom Options.NOTE: You must type the correct settings to match the layout for your Avery business cards.

  11. Insert the following dimensions:
    Side Margin:0.5"
    Top Margin:0.75"
    Horizontal Gap:0.5"
    Vertical Gap:0.5"
  12. Click OK. You will notice the card layout is 8-per sheet.
  13. Make sure the Avery Business Card labels are loaded in your printers paper tray, and click OK.
NOTE: The exact mesurements above will be affected slightly depending upon which print driver you are using. Slight adjustments may be necessary.

The Special Paper option is a Paper Direct product. This vendor is independent of Microsoft Corporation and provides business cards that contain pre-printed designs, shapes, and objects. If you print using your Avery Business Cards labels, you will not see any of Special Paper features.
