The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft PowerPoint 2000
This article was previously published under Q237700 For a Microsoft PowerPoint 2002 version of this article, see 291893.
SUMMARY
When you start Microsoft PowerPoint 2000, it does not make sure that all the keys it writes to the Windows Registry are correct.
Many of the PowerPoint keys can be missing or corrupted, and
PowerPoint will not automatically correct them. This behavior is
different from earlier versions of PowerPoint and is intended
to improve the performance of PowerPoint.
To make sure that PowerPoint is registered correctly,
run the Microsoft PowerPoint 2000 or Microsoft Office 2000 Setup program.
