SYMPTOMS

If you copy an article from Microsoft Encarta Encyclopedia 2000 and then paste it into one of the following programs, the pasted article does not include the copyright information at the end of the article:
  • Microsoft Exchange
  • Microsoft Outlook
  • Microsoft WordPad

RESOLUTION

To work around this issue:
  1. Start the program into which you want to paste the article.
  2. On the Edit menu, click Paste Special.
  3. Click Unformatted Text, and then click OK.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Encarta Encyclopedia 2000.
