This article was previously published under Q237074

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Vizact, when you apply a hyperlink to an interactive bullet, play the page, and then click the hyperlink, the target of the hyperlink opens in your Web browser.

CAUSE

When you apply a hyperlink to the top level interactive bullet, it overrides the functionality of the interactive bullet.

WORKAROUND

To add a hyperlink to the top level of an interactive bullet and retain the functionality of the interactive bullet, type some text following the text of the top level interactive bullet, and apply the hyperlink to the newly added text. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. To create an interactive bullet, type interactive bullet on a new page. Select the text, and then click the Interactive Bullet button on the Standard toolbar.
  2. Click after the text, "Interactive Bullet Title".
  3. Press the SPACEBAR and then type click here.
  4. Select the text you typed in step 3. Right-click the selection and click Hyperlink on the menu that appears.
  5. In the Hyperlink box, type the URL you want and click OK.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
