This article was previously published under Q237045 SYMPTOMS
In Microsoft Vizact, when you change the hyperlink associated with a hover button created in Microsoft FrontPage, you may experience the following symptoms:
- The hyperlink address does not appear in Microsoft Vizact, giving you the impression that you can create a new hyperlink.
- When you rest the pointer over the hyperlink in a Web browser, the new address appears in the status bar of the browser.
- When you click the hover button, it is still linked to the original URL.
CAUSE
These symptoms occur because the hover button is a Java applet that uses a URL as a parameter. This component does not use a standard hyperlink.
RESOLUTION
To change the hyperlink target for a FrontPage hover button, save the changes you have made in Microsoft Vizact, open the file in FrontPage and then change the hyperlink associated with the hover button.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
