VIZACT: Image That Has Transparency and Effect Shows Cyan Color (236676)

The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Vizact 2000

This article was previously published under Q236676

SYMPTOMS

If you apply a transition effect to an image that has transparency, when you play the page, the transparent region of the image has a cyan color that appears while the transition effect is playing.

CAUSE

In some hardware configurations, this behavior may occur for some transition effects.

MORE INFORMATION

To eliminate this behavior, you can set a default background color for the image; if you do this, however, the image no longer appears to be transparent.

In some hardware configurations, this behavior cannot be avoided. You may want to adjust the color depth and resolution of your computer to see if a different display setting may fix the situation. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
  2. Double-click the Display icon.
  3. Click the Settings tab.
  4. Try increasing the color depth and/or decreasing the resolution.
