This article was previously published under Q236663 SYMPTOMS
On pages with linked HTML Components (.htc files), the pages do not properly play in Vizact. In addition, if you modify the element on which the .htc file is linked, such as adding a start or end time to the element, the HTC functionality does not play in Vizact and does not work when viewed in your Web browser.
CAUSE
Vizact does not play scripts when you press Play. Vizact will not read HTC files, or execute the scripts contained within them. If you have a page that contains an HTC file, you will not see the functionality in Vizact.
If you have modified an element that uses the HTC file, Vizact may overwrite the code in the page. This will cause the HTC effect to not function correctly.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
