SMS: Scheduled Site Backup Fails to Run Daily (235735)

SYMPTOMS

When the Site Maintenance Task is scheduled to run daily, it fails to run. The minimum time interval at which the Backup Task will run is weekly, starting on the next available day (from when it was set) within the time parameters specified.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Systems Management Server version 2.0. This problem has been corrected in the latest U.S. service pack for Systems Management Server version 2.0.
