Links LS 99: Only One Course Is Available When You Attempt to Add the Kapalua Bay Courses (235629)
The information in this article applies to:
- Links LS 1999 Edition
- Links LS 1999 Upgrade Version 1.0
This article was previously published under Q235629 SYMPTOMS
When you attempt to add the Kapalua Bay courses to Links LS 1999 Edition, only one course is available on the add-on screen even though the Kapalua Bay CD-ROM contains three courses.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs because the Kapalua Bay courses were designed to be used with Links LS MS-DOS (1997 Edition).
RESOLUTION
To work around this issue, copy the course files from the Kapalua Bay CD-ROM into the Links LS 99 installation folder. To do this:
- Click Start, point to Find, and then click
Files or Folders.
- In the Named box, type *.crx.
- In the Look in box, click the CD-ROM drive containing the Kapalua Bay CD-ROM, and then click Find Now.
- Click the Plantati.crx file, press and hold down the
CTRL key, and then click the Village_.crx file.
- On the Edit menu, click Copy.
- Click Start, and then click Run.
- In the Open box, type the following line including the quotation marks:
"c:\program files\linksls99"
- On the Edit menu, click Paste.
