When you start any of the programs listed at the beginning of this article,
you may receive the following error message:
This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down.
If the problem persists, contact the program vendor.
If you click Details, you may receive an error message similar to any of
the following:
Program caused an invalid page fault in module GDI32.DLL at
0137:BFF3191C.
-or-
Program caused an invalid page fault in module KERNEL32.DLL at
0137:BFF3191C.
-or-
Program caused an access violation fault in module GDI32.DLL at
0137:BFF3191C.
-or-
Program caused an access violation fault in module SIWDLL32.DLL.
-or-
Program caused an invalid page fault in module QD98.DLL.
CAUSE
These problems may occur if CyberMedia First Aid 97, build 400, is
installed on your computer.
WORKAROUND
To prevent these problems from occurring, obtain and install an updated
version of First Aid 97 from CyberMedia.
