Client Cannot Render Stream Using HTTP Distribution for Station Service (235398)

Windows Media Player clients cannot connect through HTTP to a broadcast distribution stream; however, they can connect through the MSBD protocol.
CAUSE
This behavior is by design.
WORKAROUND
Unicast clients should not connect to HTTP distribution streams directly. They should connect to the server with HTTP streaming (not distribution) enabled. To enable HTTP streaming, do the following: - Start the Windows Media Administrator.Select Server Properties.Select the HTTP Streaming and Distributing tab.Select the radio button for Enable HTTP streaming for Windows Media Unicast service.Apply the settings and restart the server.
