MOD2000: Conflict During Simultaneous Check-ins to Visual SourceSafe (234836)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Office 2000 Developer
This article was previously published under Q234836 SYMPTOMS
When you use the Visual Basic Editor (VBE) Source Code Control Add-in to manually check an object into Microsoft Visual SourceSafe before a previous check-in is complete, the Source Code Control Results and the Check Files into Visual SourceSafe dialog boxes may begin to flicker rapidly. The dialog boxes continue to flicker until you get a message that indicates that your system resources are low.
RESOLUTION
To stop the flickering, switch to another application window, and then back to the application you are working in.
Make sure that when you are checking multiple objects into Visual SourceSafe, you wait for one check-in to be completed before you start the next check-in.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
