Outlook 2000, Outlook 98, and Outlook 97 do not run properly when installed on the same operating system and computer. Microsoft does not support running mixed versions of Outlook on the same operating system.
MORE INFORMATION
Each version of Outlook installs system files and registry entries that are not compatible with the other versions of Outlook. In order to have different versions of Outlook on the same computer, you must configure the computer to dual-boot operating systems, and then install Outlook separately for each operating system, ensuring that each Outlook version is installed to a different folder.
