The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 Enterprise Edition
  • Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 Standard Edition
  • Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server
  • Microsoft Exchange Server 5.5

This article was previously published under Q234418

SYMPTOMS

If you send a mail message that contains a Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) tagged Uniform Resource Locator (URL) (for example, http://www.microsoft.com) from Microsoft Exchange Server to Novell GroupWise, the entire URL tag is dropped from the message. None of the URL text is preserved and there is no indication that the URL tag has been dropped from the message. You may also lose complex HTML content such as graphics and background when you send a message across the GroupWise connector.

CAUSE

The GroupWise connector does not process complex HTML content.
