To print a mirror image of a project on an iron-on transfer in Home Publishing 2000:

1. Create a one page paper project in Home Publishing 2000.
2. On the File menu, click Print.
3. Click to select the Flip the print output for T-shirt printing check box, and then click OK.

Home Publishing 99

To print a mirror image of a project on an iron-on transfer in Home Publishing 99, use one of the following methods.

Select the Mirrored Output Option in the Printer's Properties

Many printers have a Mirrored Output option in the printer's properties. This option flips the entire page horizontally during the printing process. To determine if your printer has a Mirrored Output option and for information about how to enable this option, consult the printed or online documentation provided with your printer.

Flip Text Using Microsoft Draw 98

To flip text in your Home Publishing project using Microsoft Draw 98:

1. Start Home Publishing 99, and then click Paper Projects.
2. Click Flyers.
3. Under How do you want to get started, click to select the Start with a blank project check box.
4. Click either of the top two images in the Choose a page setup box, and then click Next.
5. Click Add Something, and then click Something Else.
6. In the What do you want to box, click Microsoft Draw 98 Drawing.
   
   NOTE: If Microsoft Draw 98 Drawing is not listed, Microsoft Draw 98 is not installed on your computer. You can either proceed to the "Flip Text Using a Graphics Program" method later in this article, or download and install Microsoft Draw 98 free of charge from Tools on the Web.
   
   To download Microsoft Draw 98, a retail copy of a Microsoft Office 97 program must be installed on your computer, and you must register on Tools on the Web.
   
   To download and install Microsoft Draw 98, visit the following Microsoft Web site:

7. On the Insert menu, click WordArt.
8. Click a WordArt style, and then click OK.
9. Type the text you want to flip horizontally.
10. Select the font and formatting options you want, and then click OK.
11. Click Draw in the lower-left corner of the window, and then click Rotate or Flip.
12. Click Flip Horizontal.
13. On the Edit menu, click Select All.
14. On the Edit menu, click Copy.
15. Close the Microsoft Draw window. When you are prompted to save the changes, click No.
16. Press the DELETE key to delete the object box in your blank Home Publishing project.
17. On the Edit menu, click Paste.
18. Complete your Home Publishing project.

Flip Text Using a Graphics Program

If you cannot install Microsoft Draw 98, you may be able to create the horizontally flipped text in another graphics program, and then insert the flipped text into your Home Publishing project.

NOTE: The flipped text may appear jagged depending on the graphics program you use.
