SBFM2000: Incorrect Transaction Dates in Cash Flow Report (234100)

When you create a Cash Flow report, the column headings for transaction dates correspond to an incorrect month/year for the data. For example, the column heading may read March 1999 when the data is actually for June 1999.
CAUSE
This problem occurs when you do the following:
- You import data from Intuit QuickBooks for Windows.
-and- - You create a Cash Flow report and choose Rolling 12 Period Trend.
-and- - The accounting period of the report begins with one or more months of empty data (no transactions).

When you import data from QuickBooks for Windows and your accounting period begins with one or more months with no transactions, the Microsoft Small Business Financial Manager (SBFM) interprets the beginning month of your accounting period incorrectly. For example, if you open your accounting year in the month of January but have no transactions until March, when you create a Cash Flow - Rolling 12 Period Trend report, the SBFM reports the month headings incorrectly. The month of January shows data for March; February shows data for April; March shows data for May, and so forth. The data is correct but contains the wrong month title.
