SYMPTOMS

If you create a Remote Access Service (RAS) connection to a private network, Windows passes the credentials of the user currently logged on, unless you specify a user name and password for that connection.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Windows 2000.
