When you attempt to use the DriveSpace tool to compress a Sony PCV-L600 flash card removable media device, you may receive the following error message:
Cannot mount volume file drive letter:Drvspace.000 as drive X because the volume file is damaged. Use ScanDisk to check both drive letter:Drvspace.000 and drive X for errors. If the problem persists, contact Product Support.

CAUSE
This issue occurs if you are compressing a flash card removable media device that does not use the File Allocation Table (FAT) file system.

The FAT and Virtual File Allocation Table (VFAT) file systems are the only file systems supported by DriveSpace.
