SUMMARY

Three files were inadvertently dropped from the Microsoft Windows 98 Device Driver Kit CD. These files are necessary to build the IPNew sample.

The Windows 98 DDK installs into the default \98Ddk folder. Search the contents of the \98Ddk\Bin folder for the following files:
  • Ddkvars.bat
  • Dvol.bat
  • Vcenv.bat
If these files are missing, they can be obtained from the Microsoft Download Center Web site in the self-extracting executable, Ipnew.exe. Extract these files into the \98Ddk\Bin folder.
