SYMPTOMS When you view your ES1869 Plug and Play AudioDrive sound
card in Device Manager, there may be a yellow exclamation point and a status of
Code 10 for the sound card. You may also receive the following error
message: fatal exception 0E @ 0028:c0030185 in VxD ntkern
(01) +0000e351 CAUSE This issue can occur after you upgrade your Microsoft
Windows 95-based or Microsoft Windows 98-based computer to Windows 98 Second
Edition. RESOLUTION To resolve this issue, remove and reinstall the ES1869 Plug
and Play AudioDrive sound card:
- Click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then double-click System.
- Click the Device Manager tab, click the ES1869 Plug and Play AudioDrive
sound card, click Remove, click OK, and then click OK.
- Click Yes when you are prompted to restart your computer.
- After your computer restarts, the ES1869 Plug and Play
AudioDrive sound card should be detected and installed properly.
