Creative Video Blaster WebCam II Drivers Are Not Loaded Correctly (233113)

SYMPTOMS

After you upgrade to Windows 98 Second Edition, your Creative Video Blaster WebCam II may not respond (hang), and a yellow exclamation point may be displayed in Device Manager for the device.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, unplug and then plug the camera back in to the Universal Serial Bus (USB) port. The drivers for the camera should be detected and loaded correctly.

MORE INFORMATION

The Vvlusb.sys driver used by the Creative Video Blaster WebCam II may not be enumerated correctly during the upgrade process. You may see a "Code 10" status for the device in Device Manager.
