Final Reality 101 Does Not Run on Windows 98 Second Edition (233085)

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to start the Final Reality 101 program by Remedy Entertainment on your Windows 98 Second Edition-based computer, the program may not start.

CAUSE

This issue occurs because Final Reality 101 is not designed to function with versions of DirectX later than version 5.0. Windows 98 Second Edition Setup installs DirectX version 6.0.

MORE INFORMATION

Remedy Entertainment currently has no plans to update the Final Reality 101 software to be compatible with DirectX 6.0.
