Sony PCV-90 Computer Stops Responding After Standby Mode (231941)

SYMPTOMS

When you try to resume your Sony PCV-90 computer from Standby mode, your computer may appear to stop responding (hang).

CAUSE

This issue can occur if one or both of the following conditions exist:
  • Your computer's Basic Input/Output System (BIOS) is out-of-date.
  • The Onboard Video IRQ setting on your BIOS is not enabled.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, contact Sony to inquire about the availability of a fix for this issue, or obtain and install the most current BIOS update for your computer.
