Cannot Clear All the Text From the Spouse Box in a Contact (231896)

When you edit the properties of a contact in Microsoft Windows Address Book, you are unable to delete all of the text in the Spouse box.
RESOLUTION
To work around this issue, change the text string in the Spouse box to none. To do this, follow these steps:
- Click Start, point to Programs, point to Internet Explorer, and then click Address Book.
- Click to select the contact you want to edit.
- On the File menu, click Properties.
- On the Personal tab, click to select the Spouse box.
- In the Spouse box, type none replacing the current text string.
- Click OK, and then quit Windows Address Book.
NOTE: If you want to clear the Spouse box completely, you need to remove, and then recreate the contact without the spouse information.
