Internet Connection Wizard Runs After Browser Connection Setup (231706)

After you use the Browser Connection Setup Wizard (ICSCLSET) to install Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) on your client computer, the Internet Connection Wizard (ICW) may run the first time you start Internet
Explorer.
CAUSE
This problem occurs due to problems in Windows 98 Second Edition.
RESOLUTION
To work around this problem, use the following settings when you are prompted by the ICW:
- Click I want to set up my Internet connection manually, or I want to connect through a local area network (LAN), and then click Next.
- Click I connect through a local area network (LAN), and then click Next.
- Click to clear the Automatic discovery of proxy server (recommended) check box, click to clear the Use automatic configuration script check box, click to clear the Manual Proxy Server check box, and then click Next.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to set up your Internet e-mail account, and then click Finish.
