WD2000: Pages with Section Breaks Are Not Displayed Correctly in Print Preview (231166)

SYMPTOMS

When you preview multiple pages of a document, pages containing section breaks are not updated and displayed correctly.

For example, if you have multipage document containing page breaks on odd pages, and you click Print Preview on the File menu, you may see pages appear in the right pane that should not appear when you scroll up and down to view the pages in the document.

NOTE: This problem will not affect the printing of the document.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because the right pane in print preview may not always update correctly when you are viewing multiple pages.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
