OFF2000: Crash Deleting ActiveX Conferencing Object or UserForm (230887)

If you attempt to delete an ActiveX object contained in a custom user form or to remove a user form from a workbook in any of the Microsoft Office 2000 programs listed in the beginning of this article, you may receive an error similar to following:
This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down.
If the problem persists, contact the program vendor.
When you click Details, one of the following messages appear: EXCEL executed an invalid instruction in module <unknown> at 0000:0000002b.
EXCEL caused an invalid page fault in module FM20.DLL at 015f:600aa290.
NOTE: The actual memory address may vary.
CAUSE
This problem will occur if you attempt to delete an ActiveX Conferencing Object from a user form or remove a user form that contains an ActiveX Conferencing Object. The ActiveX Conferencing Object is contained within the file Xmsconf.ocx.
RESOLUTION
To prevent this problem from occurring, do not use ActiveX Conferencing Objects within user forms. If you do use an ActiveX Conferencing Object, do not attempt to remove it or the user form that contains it.
