To retain player information and statistics when you upgrade to Links LS 99, follow these steps:

  1. Start Links LS 99 Setup.
  2. When you are prompted to insert Disc 2, press ALT+TAB.
  3. Click Start, point to Programs, and then click MS-DOS Prompt.
  4. Type the following lines at the command prompt, pressing ENTER after you type each line

    copy <drive>:\progra~1\linksls98\*.pin <drive>:\progra~1\linksls99
copy <drive>:\progra~1\linksls98\*.sta <drive>:\progra~1\linksls99
    where <drive> is the hard disk on which Microsoft Windows is installed.

    NOTE: These commands assume that you installed each version of Links LS in its default folder. The default folder for Links LS 98 is:

    C:\Program Files\Linksls98

    The default folder for Links LS 99 is:

    C:\Program Files\Linksls99

  5. Press ALT+TAB, and then follow the instructions on the screen to complete Links LS 99 Setup.
