Unable to Connect to FTP Sites After Installing Internet Explorer 5 (230139)

After you install Internet Explorer 5 on your computer running Windows 95, you may not be able to gain access to FTP sites using Internet Explorer or MS-DOS-based FTP programs.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if the Winsock files are damaged or are not upgraded prior to the Internet Explorer 5 installation.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, use the appropriate method: - Install the Winsock 2.0 update for Windows 95 from the following Microsoft Web site:
- Install the Dial-Up Networking 1.3 update for Windows 95 (which includes and requires Winsock 2.0) from the following Microsoft Web site:
