OFF98: CRC Error Decoding FileMaker Pro Importer with BinHex 4.0 (229828)

When you attempt to decode the Office_98-FileMaker_Pro.hqx file, you receive the following error message:
CRC ($F321) error.
When you double-click the resulting Office 98-FileMaker Pro icon, you receive the following error message:
The application program "Office 98-FileMaker Pro Setup" could not be opened because an error of type -39 occurred.
CAUSE
This problem may occur if you used BinHex 4.0 to decode the Office_98-FileMaker_Pro.hqx file.
WORKAROUND
The most recent versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator will automatically decode .hqx files for you. Follow these steps to turn on this option in Internet Explorer 4.5:
- On the Edit menu, click Preferences.
- Click Download Options in the list on the left side of the Internet Explorer Preferences dialog box.
- Click Automatically decode BinHex files, and then click OK.
The next time that you download the Office 98/Filemaker Pro Importer, Internet Explorer will automatically decode the .hqx file.
