Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 includes a version of Microsoft Outlook Express that now allows you to access a Microsoft Exchange 2000 server using the new WebDAV (Web Distributing, Authoring Versioning) protocol.
The WebDAV protocol provides DAV-compliant clients, like Outlook Express and the new Outlook Web Access, greater scalability and performance capability than IMAP or POP3 protocols.
