OLEXP: Outlook Express Does Not Display HTML Message Content (229689)

When you try to view a Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) e-mail message in Outlook Express for Macintosh, Outlook Express may either display only some of the message, or display the message without the HTML content.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if the memory allocation for Outlook Express is set to a value at or above 10,000 KB.
RESOLUTION
Set the memory allocation for Outlook Express to less than 10,000 KB:
- Open the Outlook Express 4.5 folder.
- Click the Outlook Express program icon.
- On the File menu, click Get Info (or Memory).
- Adjust the preferred memory size to less than 10,000 KB. The recommended setting for Outlook Express is 4,000 KB.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
