FP2000: Blank Underline in Table of Contents When Previewed in Web Browser (229586)
The information in this article applies to:
This article was previously published under Q229586 SYMPTOMS
When you view a Table of Contents component in your Web browser, the table of contents may contain a link that is just an underline,
or an item in the table of contents may be blank.
CAUSE
Microsoft FrontPage creates the table of contents based on the title of the document. If the document has no title, FrontPage uses the file name for the table of contents. However, if the title of the page contains only spaces, FrontPage displays these spaces, and the table of contents appears to be only an underline.
RESOLUTION
If you do not want any text in the title of the page, remove the spaces; otherwise, type some text for the title of the page.
