When you are playing a local or streamed multimedia file using Microsoft Windows Media Player, the configured screen saver may not start after the specified period of time has elapsed.
This may also occur when you are using the Radio toolbar in Internet Explorer to play a radio station.
CAUSE
This issue occurs because Windows Media Player disables the screen saver while it is in use.
STATUS
This behavior is by design.
