OL98: Colors in Monthly View of Calendar Are Not Consistent Between Computers (229157)

The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Outlook 98

This article was previously published under Q229157

SYMPTOMS

When viewing your calendar in Monthly view, the colors alternate from gray to white to gray. On other computers the same view shows the month as all gray in color.

CAUSE

The other computers are using a different Windows color scheme. Picking something like Windows Standard displays the gray background.

RESOLUTION

Choose a different Windows color scheme.

MORE INFORMATION

Windows color schemes control how many Microsoft Office items are displayed. In several preset color schemes such as Plum, the same two colors are used for the trigger colors, therefore the months all look the same color.
