The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Publisher 2000

This article was previously published under Q228841

SYMPTOMS

If you print a Microsoft Publisher publication that contains graphics that have been cropped with the cropping tool, the publication may not print properly. Specifically, the cropped area of the graphic may print, or the cropped area may cover or "white out" text in the publication.

CAUSE

This behavior has been reported when you print cropped EPS (Encapsulated PostScript) graphics. The picture frame information for cropped graphics is misrepresented.

RESOLUTION

Change the text wrapping property of the graphic to Wrap Text To Picture. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. Click to select the graphic.
  2. Right-click the graphic, point to Change Frame, and click Picture Frame Properties.
  3. Under Wrap around text, click Picture only, then click OK.
