PPT2000: No Help Topic Associated with Windows in Taskbar Option (228651)

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft PowerPoint, when you click the Help button (?) on the Options dialog box title bar, and you then click to select the Windows in taskbar check box on the View tab, you receive the following message

No help topic is associated with this item.

even though the following Help topic should be displayed:

Select to display an icon on the Windows taskbar for each open Microsoft PowerPoint presentation or window. Clear this check box to display a single icon for the PowerPoint program.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.

To access the Windows in taskbar check box, follow these steps:
  1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
  2. In the Options dialog box, click the View tab.
  3. The Windows in taskbar check box is under Show.
